Trewiston Cottage was a large home that suffered from a significant fire in a first floor bedroom. The main two storey part of the building was completely gutted by the fire, and the roof required a full replacement.
We were instructed to act as Contract Administrator, preparing a detailed Schedule of Works and Drawings, and sourcing a competent contractor through a competitive tendering process. We completed the design of structural elements, specification of internal and external finishes, and made regular inspections of the works.
As part of our role, we guided the home owners through the process, and liaised between them, the contractors and insurers.
The project was completed successfully, to a high standard, and within the set timescales.
